The 23-year-old Big Man signed a contract until 2023, with exit options after this season.

Da Silva ended his senior year at Stanford with 18.5 points (second-best in the Pac 12), 6.7 rebounds and 2.4 assist per game.

Nicolò Melli reportedly wants to leave the Pelicans

Nicolò Melli doesn’t want to stay in New Orleans where he is often out of rotations, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Melli has played 21 games this season averaging 2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.1 minutes of action.

In his rookie season in the NBA, under coach Alvin Gentry, the Italian forward averaged 6.6 points and 3 rebounds in 60 games with an averaged of 17.4 minutes per contest.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Melli is waiting for a new team.

Lakers assistant Jason Kidd an option for UNLV

Hall of Famer and Lakers assistant coach Jason Kidd has emerged as a candidate of interest for the UNLV coaching job, reports Sam Gordon of the Las Vegas Review Journal.

The Rebels are intrigued by Kidd as a potential replacement for T.J. Otzelberger, according to people with knowledge of the situation. Kidd was reportedly interested in the job in 2019, when Otzelberger was ultimately appointed. There’s a belief that Kidd could be still interested today.

JL Bourg signed a three-year contract with Laurent Legname, who will be the team’s head coach next season.

According to Defensa Central, Walter Tavares’ performance this season has not gone unnoticed in the NBA, and several NBA teams would be interested in bringing the big man back to America.

Defensa Central adds that Tavares would have promised the blancos that he plans to stay in Madrid next season.

The big man, who has played 2 seasons in NBA, this year is averaging 11.3 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.1 blocks over 58 games between Euroleague and ACB.

Brad Stevens “flattered” by interest from Indiana Hoosiers

Brad Stevens has been mentioned as a candidate for the recent vacancy at Indiana University. Stevens left Butler to become head coach of the Boston Celtics in 2013.

Obie Trotter is a new player of Benacquista Latina, the italian team announced.

The veteran guard signed a contract until the end of the season.

Trotter started the year in the Polish league with Twarde Pierniki Torun, with averages of 11.1 points, 4.7 assist and 1.9 steals in 27 games.
