CSKA Moscow released a statement regarding Kevin Pangos on the official website of the Russian powerhouse.
CSKA Moscow announced that Kevin Pangos will continue his career with Olimpia Milano adding that the Canadian point guard terminated the contract with the team unilaterally to accept the offer made by the Italian reigning champions.
“Pangos signed a three-year agreement with CSKA in February this year, but he did not appear in our facilities”
The club is considering the possibility of recovering the compensation provided by the contract with CSKA in court.”
Hapoel Tel Aviv kept getting ready for its 7DAYS EuroCup debut next season by inking big man Chris Horton, the club announced Wednesday (via EuroCup). Woodard now reunites with Hamburg’s head coach Raoul Korner, after the two worked together at another German side, Bayreuth, where Woodard led the team in scoring with 13.0 points per game. During his professional career, Hamburg’s new scoring guard also played with Rouen in France, Nevezis in Lithuania, MZT Skopje in North Macedonia, Cantu in Italy and Peristeri in Greece. Woodard is now set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.

Olimpia Milano agreed on a two-year contract with Kevin Pangos, a Holland Landing, Ontario, Canada, native, born on September 2, 1993, 1.88 mt. tall, formerly with the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers. “We strongly believe that Kevin Pangos is coming to Milano at exactly the right time: he has high-level EuroLeague experience, he is a proven winner, with the mental and basketball skills we’re looking for in a point guard. WHO’S PANGOS – Kevin Pangos, a Canadian, was raised in Ontario, slightly north of Toronto, gaining exposure while playing for the Canadian Junior National Teams. With the Under 16 team, he won the bronze medal at the Americas Championship in 2009 then again at the Under 17 World Championship in Hamburg, Germany, in 2010. In 2011, he played in the Under 19 World Championship again. In the fall of 2011, he moved to the United States to enroll at Gonzaga, in Spokane, Was., where he stayed four years. He has played 142 games, starting 141 times, the only exception being his career debut. Overall, he averaged 12.8 points and 3.8 assists per game, while shooting 41.5 percent from three-point range. He was West Coast Conference’s newcomer of the year in 2012, a All-WCC first-team member in each of his four seasons. In 2015 he was also player of the year and was named to the All-America third team. Undrafted in 2015, he moved to Europe and signed for Gran Canaria. He was named to the All-Eurocup second team (11.9 points, 4.8 assists per game and 51.2 percent shooting from three), after leading his team to the semifinals stage.
In 2016, he moved to Zalgiris Kaunas, making his EuroLeague’s debut. After averaging 8.7 points and 3.2 assists per game (45.7 percent shooting from three) as a rookie, he made a jump in his second season, averaging 12.7 points and 5.9 assists per game during the 2017/18 season when Zalgiris reached the Final Four and he was named to the All-EuroLeague second team. In 2018, he was signed by FC Barcelona. He had 7.0 points and 3.2 assists per game. He remained two years, but during his second season -however cut short – he could only play three Spanish league games and no EuroLeague games at all, because of a foot injury. In 2020, he moved to Zenit Saint Petersburg and averaged 13.5 points and 6.7 assists per game while being named to the All-EuroLeague first team. In 2021, he made his NBA debut with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He appeared in 29 games.
NOTE – Kevin Pangos has played the 2019 World Championships in China with Canada. His father, Bill Pangos, has been women’s coach at the York University in Canada for 29 seasons. At Gonzaga, he set the school record for three-pointers, 322, and is fifth for games played and points scored. He had a nine-three outing in his second game at Gonzaga, scoring 33 points-
Davide Moretti and Olimpia Milano have parted ways.
Moretti has played only one season with the Italian champions, in 2020-2021 before being loaned to VL Pesaro in 2021-2022.
Moretti will continue his career with VL Pesaro with a new contract.

The Houston Rockets today announced they have re-signed center Bruno Fernando.
The Rockets acquired Fernando as part of a trade with Boston on Feb. 10, 2022. He appeared in 10 games over the remainder of the season for Houston while averaging 6.9 points and 4.0 rebounds in 9.4 minutes per game. In a combined 30 games for the Rockets and Celtics last season, Fernando averaged 20.8 points, 13.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per 36 minutes played.
Fernando scored in double-figures in four of his 10 games as a Rocket, while recording two double-doubles. He shot 70.7% from the floor for Houston, including 8-of-8 in 23 minutes of play vs. Dallas on March 11. Fernando was originally the 34th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft following his sophomore season at the University of Maryland and spent his first two seasons with Atlanta.
