Utah Jazz rookie Ace Bailey scored a team-high 25 points, adding 6 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in the preseason game against the Houston Rockets.
The 5th overall pick of the last NBA Draft showcased a variety of mid-range moves, knocking down 11 of his 16 shots.
After the game, Kevin Durant had some high praise for the Jazz’s promising talent:
“Dynamic player… I think he’s gonna be a helluva player. I love the coaching staff that he’s with, I love that he got drafted to Utah. Good development program over there. I’m expecting a big year and a big career for him — and tonight he showed what he can do.”
