Portland swingman Rodney Hood said to The Oregonian that he will remain with the team next year.
He has a player option in the contract for about $6MM for the next season.
“One thing I know is that I’ll be in a Portland Trail Blazers uniform next year, as far as the contract and all that type of stuff, that will work itself out when that time comes, but I fully expect to be in a Portland Trail Blazers uniform next year”.
The former Duke suffered a torn Achilles tendon early in the regular season.
He played 21 games, with averages of 11 points and 3.4 rebounds, shooting 50% from the field and 49% from beyond the arc.
