Rockets reportedly have “full intention” to keep Daryl Morey

Houston Rockets governor Tilman Fertitta “fully intends” to retain Daryl Morey as general manager of the team, high-ranking sources within the team tell ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.

Morey signed a five-year extension with the Rockets in 2019 and is believed to be making approximately $8 million per season. His job status has been a topic of discussion in league circles since his Tweet in support of Hong Kong protesters before the start of the 19-20 season.
