Rockets Lose Steven Adams for the Remainder of the Season

The Houston Rockets will be without Steven Adams for the rest of the season, according to a report by Shams Charania.

The veteran center underwent surgery on his left ankle, effectively ending his 2025–26 campaign.

Before the injury, Adams was averaging 5.8 points and 8.6 rebounds in 22 minutes per game. His elite instinct on the offensive glass—an area where he has long ranked among the league’s best— was a key reason why head coach Ime Udoka chose to stick with the big lineup that emerged late last season.
