Rockets: Jabari Smith Jr. out 4 to 8 weeks with left hand injury

The Rockets are third in Western Conference with 22 wins in 34 games

Houston Rockets forward Jabari Smith Jr. will be out for four to eight weeks due to a fracture in his left hand.

Smith suffered the injury in the shootaround prior to the game with the Celtics.

In 33 games, the second overall pick of the 2022 NBA Draft was producing 11.9 points, 6.5 rebounds and a block, playing an important role in the Rockets’ excellent defense.
