Rockets’ House under investigation for allegedly allowing COVID-19 testing official into hotel room

The testing official claimed to have contact with Tyson Chandler and another player not named House

Danuel House of the Houston Rockets is under investigation for allegedly allowing a COVID-19 testing official into his hotel room.
House’s status for the remainder of the Western Conference Semifinals is uncertain.

Shams Charania and Sam Amick of The Athletic report that the testing official claimed to have contact with Tyson Chandler and another player not named House.
The entire Rockets’ team had to enter a quarantine period on Tuesday due to the potential exposure, sources tell The Athletic. Those sources said there appears to be no video connecting House with the testing official. The NBA has informed involved parties that it has circumstantial evidence implicating House. Sources say there has been frustration about the lack of communication between the NBA’s investigative team and the Rockets.
