Former Senegalese center arrives after four seasons as assistant for the Utah Jazz.

The Houston Rockets have hired former Senegalese center DeSagana Diop as an assistant coach, reports ESPN’s Tim MacMahon.

Diop, 8th overall pick in the 2001 NBA Draft, has spent the last four seasons working as an assistant for the Utah Jazz.
