According to sources, the Houston Rockets and the Detroit Pistons have discussed a deal in which Alec Burks would be included, as reported by Jake Fischer of Yahoo.
Burks’ $10.5 million salary is almost exactly the same as that of Victor Oladipo, who the Rockets most recently acquired in the Kevin Porter Jr. deal from the Oklahoma City Thunder. There is a shortage of backcourt minutes in Detroit.
The Rockets have also communicated with Malcolm Brogdon of the Portland Trail Blazers and Talen Horton-Tucker of the Utah Jazz.
