American forward Robert Franks has joined the Nanjing Monkey Kings of the Chinese CBA for the upcoming season. The 29-year-old, 205cm forward arrives after spending the past two seasons with the Cyberdyne Ibaraki Robots in Japan.
Last season, Franks posted impressive averages of 17.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 53 games, while also earning Player of the Week honors. He has built extensive international experience, playing in six countries across North America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Franks won the NBA G League championship in 2021 with the Stockton Kings. This will be his eighth professional season.
