Ricky Rubio reportedly turned down Panathinaikos and Zeljko Obradovic. According to AS, as relayed by Eurohoops Türkiye, the coach personally contacted the Spanish point guard.
The offer was reportedly worth €900,000 per season. Rubio, 35, however, chose not to leave Badalona, where he has found stability after taking time away to protect his mental health.
Despite the chance to earn more money, Rubio preferred to stay home. The decision highlights the importance of personal balance in this new stage of his career.
