Ricky Rubio Shines in ACB Return as Joventut Defeats Granada

Ricky Rubio made a strong return to the ACB, posting 18 points, 4 assists, 3 steals, and 7 drawn fouls in Joventut Badalona’s 87-75 road win over Coviran Granada.

“It’s been 20 years, even though it feels like yesterday. A lot has happened, but I can still say I enjoy playing basketball,” the 34-year-old point guard said after the game.

Joventut also benefited from solid performances by its frontcourt duo — Birgander (16 points, 8 rebounds) and Tomic (13 points, 6 rebounds).

For Granada, Bozic’s 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 10 drawn fouls weren’t enough to change the outcome.
