Is Pitino about to return to the College Basketball world?

According to Ian O’Connor, Rick Pitino is telling people that he has a deal in place to be the next coach of the Iona Gaels.
According to another report from CBS Sports, Pitino informed his Panathinaikos players that ‘He will return to coach college basketball this year but will finish out the Euroleague season if and when it resumes’.

Rick Pitino left Greece to be with his family in the United States after Esake suspended until further notice the league due to the coronavirus outbreak in Europe.

Rick Pitino is now telling people he believes he has a deal in place to coach Iona. Next 24 hours should be interesting.

Iona is expected to hire Rick Pitino to replace Tim Cluess, sources told @Stadium.
