Reyer Venezia announces that late on the evening of September 18, 2023, it received a communication from the agents of player Bruno Caboclo, stating the athlete’s intention, for alleged personal reasons, not to report to Venice or play for Umana Reyer.
It is evident that this decision, entirely unexpected and met with astonishment and dismay by the company, constitutes a severe violation of the agreements between the parties. It should be emphasized that these agreements are still fully in force and bind Bruno Caboclo to perform his professional basketball activities for the 2023/2024 sports season exclusively for Umana Reyer Venezia and no other club in any league and/or federation.
Therefore, confident that it has acted with the utmost diligence and professionalism and having suffered significant damage, not only of a sporting nature, the company reserves the right to take appropriate measures and to act in the competent forums for the best protection of its rights and interests.
