Octavio Maretto is a new Umana Reyer Venezia player. The club announced an agreement for the 2026-27 season with the Italian-Argentine small forward, born in 2004 and listed at 197 centimeters.
Developed in Argentina with Libertad Sunchales, Maretto moved to Italy in 2021 and continued his growth between Oxygen Orange Bassano and Victoria Libertas Pesaro. Last season in Serie A2, he averaged 9.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists while shooting 60% from two-point range.
“When you hear that Reyer is interested in you, it is impossible not to get emotional,” Maretto said. The wing, also a key player for the Italian Under 20 national team, brings athleticism, energy and defensive attitude to Venezia’s roster.
