The Croatian coach targets the Italian championship, which would be his ninth national title in a seventh different country

Neven Spahija is preparing for the Italian league finals with Reyer Venezia, his first championship series since taking over the club.

According to La Nuova Venezia, Spahija has the chance to win the ninth domestic title of his coaching career in a seventh different country, after previous triumphs in Croatia, Slovenia, Lithuania, Israel, Spain and Turkey.

His winning path began with Cibona Zagreb, before continuing with Krka Novo Mesto, Lietuvos Rytas, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Baskonia and Fenerbahce. His most recent domestic title came in 2018, again with Maccabi.
