According to SDNA, ASVEL has resolved the financial issues previously identified by the DNCCG (National Directorate of Management Control), meaning the French club is now expected to honor the lucrative contracts signed by key players such as Sylvain Francisco, Nick Weiler-Babb, Armoni Brooks, and Daniel Theis.
After realizing it would be impossible to pry Francisco away from ASVEL, Panathinaikos has reportedly shifted its focus to alternative targets as it looks to strengthen its backcourt.
