Real Madrid C.F. confirmed that the EuroLeague matchup on Thursday, January 8 against Maccabi Rapyd Tel Aviv will be held without spectators.
The club stated the game will take place with the arena closed to the public.
The move comes after a meeting of the State Commission against Violence, Racism, Xenophobia and Intolerance in Sport, which classified the fixture as high risk.
Real Madrid said it is acting in line with the recommendation made by the National Police.
Ticket purchases will be refunded immediately and automatically, with no action required from buyers.
For regular season-ticket holders, the corresponding amount will be credited during next season’s renewal.
