Chuma Okeke will remain a Real Madrid player for the 2026-27 season. The American forward signed a two-year contract in the summer of 2025, but the club had the option to terminate the deal after his first campaign.
That clause was not exercised, and new head coach Pedro Martínez has decided to keep Okeke in his plans. According to AS, Martínez values the forward’s defensive versatility, athleticism, and ability to stretch the floor with his three-point shooting.
After an encouraging but inconsistent first season in Europe, Real Madrid expects the former NBA player to take another step forward in 2026-27.
