The news emerged late last night. Real Madrid is attempting to acquire Isaia Cordinier, according to reports from Simone Motola, later confirmed by Superbasket.
An offer of €500,000 has reportedly been made to release the French player from Virtus Bologna, with the Italian team potentially eyeing a young replacement, possibly Hugo Gonzalez from Real Madrid.
Cordinier is currently under contract with Virtus until June 30, 2025. This season, he is averaging 10.3 points in LBA and posting 14.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in EuroLeague.
Further confirmations are awaited, also from Spain. Virtus faces Maccabi Tel Aviv tonight at 8:30 PM in the eighth round of EuroLeague.
