Real Madrid is negotiating a deal to buy Alex Tyus out of his deal with Galatasaray, as first reported by Encestando. The EuroLeague club has been pursuing Tyus to replace Anthony Randolph, who is out for the rest of the season after tearing his Achilles.
Tyus, a veteran big man who won the EuroLeague title in 2014 with Maccabi Tel Aviv, has averaged 6.9 points and 3.8 rebounds in 11 games with Galatasaray in the Turkish BSL and Basketball Champions League.
