Real Madrid officially extend Sergio Llull’s contract

Real Madrid have officially announced the contract extension of Sergio Llull, who will remain with the club through the end of the 2026–27 season.

The team captain joined Real Madrid in 2007 and has become one of the greatest legends in the club’s history over the past 20 seasons. During his time with Los Blancos, Llull has won 29 trophies: 3 EuroLeague titles, 1 Intercontinental Cup, 9 Spanish League championships, 7 Copa del Rey titles and 9 Spanish Super Cups.

Llull is also Real Madrid’s all-time leader in appearances, having played 1,249 official games for the club. In announcing the extension, Real Madrid praised their captain for embodying the club’s values both on and off the court, ensuring that one of European basketball’s most iconic players will continue leading the team into the 2026–27 campaign.
