Real Madrid are back on the move in the transfer market and, after signing Jaime Pradilla, Mikael Jantunen, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot and Max Shulga, have reportedly renewed their interest in Lester Quiñones.
According to Marca, the 25-year-old Dominican guard could be the player chosen to complete the backcourt after Real Madrid missed out on Armoni Brooks and Lonnie Walker IV.
The Whites had already opened talks with Quiñones several weeks ago, and the possibility has gained momentum following comments from Dominican national team executive Junior Páez: “I understand that he will possibly be signing in Spain.” He did not reveal the club, but Real Madrid is reportedly among the most likely destinations.
Quiñones has played 54 NBA games with the Golden State Warriors, New Orleans Pelicans and Philadelphia 76ers, but made his biggest impact in the G League. Last season, he also played in China for Qingdao DoubleStar.
