Isaac Bonga is close to joining Real Madrid. According to Encestando, the Spanish club has reached an agreement with the German forward, who spent last season with Partizan Mozzart Bet.
Bonga is expected to sign a three-year contract worth around €7.5 million net overall. Real Madrid will pay the €700,000 exit clause included in his Partizan deal, beating competition from Barcelona and Panathinaikos.
Pedro Martínez had already tried to bring him to Valencia Basket last summer. Bonga, 26, averaged 10 points and 5.6 rebounds in the last EuroLeague season, proving he can play both small forward and power forward.
