Raptors coach Nurse says that his players are trying “to demand a little more action”

During his media availability today, Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse has discussed the team reaction to the shooting of Jacob Blake and the possibility of boycotting game 1 vs the Celtics on Thursday.

“Boycotting the game has come up for them as a way to again try to demand a little more action. And I think that’s really what they want. I think there’s enough attention and there’s not quite enough action, and I think that’s what I can sense from the discussion”, Nurse said per ESPN, adding later that he’s heard a couple of players talking about going home.
