Rajon Rondo has announced his retirement from playing basketball. One of the best passers of this millennium has decided to end his basketball career, announcing his retirement during the latest episode of the podcast “All the smoke” along with Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes. During his career he managed to do something no other player has done in NBA history: win a title with both the Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers jerseys.
In 957 appearances in the world’s top basketball league, Rondo held averages of 9.8 points and 7.9 assists per game, establishing himself as one of the most spectacular players and one of the NBA’s last pure point guards.
