Baxi Manresa announced the signing of Rafa Villar for the 2026/27 season. The 21-year-old, 1.91-meter Spanish point guard joins from Baskonia and strengthens the Catalan club’s backcourt.
Villar comes to Manresa after a 2025/26 season in which he averaged 2.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists. The club made the move official through its social media channels, welcoming the player to the new technical project.
For Manresa, this is the addition of a young point guard with room to grow and experience in a high-level environment such as Baskonia. Villar will now have the chance to find minutes and continuity in the Catalan team’s rotation.
