The Greek club announced the arrival of the former Panathinaikos and Neptunas coach for the 2026-27 season
Promitheas Patras has officially announced Giorgos Vovoras as its new head coach for the 2026-27 season.
The Greek coach, born in Athens in 1977, brings extensive bench experience. After starting as an assistant, he worked with clubs including PAOK, Panathinaikos, APOEL, Debrecen and Neptunas.
Vovoras served as Panathinaikos head coach during the 2020-21 season and reached the Lithuanian Cup final with Neptunas in 2024-25. In 2025, he also took over as head coach of the Bahrain national team.
Sylvain Francisco led Panathinaikos with 17 points, followed by Mathias Lessort and Isaac Bonga with 14 each
