New Galatasaray head coach Gianmarco Pozzecco spoke to the broadcaster after his first game on the bench, a win against Beşiktaş.
“First of all, congratulations to Beşiktaş. They’ve done great things both in the EuroCup and in the league. Dušan Alimpijević is a fantastic coach. This is Yakup Hocam’s win,” Pozzecco said.
“We fought hard, defended very well and grew during the game. The team could have been a bit tired after intense practices, but they played with very high energy. We can’t fix everything at once, but we will keep getting better.”
Pozzecco also took a moment to thank a key figure behind his move:
“A big thank you to Vladimir Micov as well. He’s the one who brought me to Galatasaray.”
