Scoot Henderson is closing in on his season debut for the Portland Trail Blazers after being sidelined all year following a left hamstring tear suffered in the leadup to the season.
Splitter said Henderson is “very, very close” to rejoining the lineup, while the team has avoided putting an exact timeline on his return, describing him as in the final stages of recovery.
Portland has stayed in the Play-In hunt despite guard injuries: Jrue Holiday has appeared in 21 of 49 games, and both Henderson and Damian Lillard have missed the entire season so far.
