Pistons reportedly set to offer a rich multi-year deal to Monty Williams

Williams led the Phoenix Suns to the NBA Finals in 2021

The Detroit Pistons are still looking for a coach after the departure of Dwane Casey, and in recent days the name of Monty Williams has emerged as the Front Office’s top target.

According to Shams Charania, the Pistons are about to make Williams a multi-year offer worth around 10 million a season, which would make the former Phoenix Suns coach one of the highest paid in the league.

Should Williams turn down Detroit’s offer, the franchise could target Charles Lee, assistant coach of the Milwaukee Bucks since 2018.
