Detroit originally acquired McGruder in the 2020 offseason in a trade

The Detroit Pistons re-signed Rodney McGruder to a one-year contract.

Former Clippers guard McGruder was previously waived by the Pistons before his $5 million contract became fully guaranteed this offseason.
