It’s going to be a pretty unique pre-draft process this year as the COVID-19 emergency is preventing NBA teams from the opportunity of watching prospects in person in events such as the NCAA tournament and the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. The NBA Combine appears to be in jeopardy, too, as well as private team workouts.
“The whole league is watching video,” Pistons senior adviser Ed Stefanski told Rod Beard of The Detroit News. “We’ve seen some (of the top prospects). Everyone has a bank of information on players, so we’re all in the same boat.”
