Mark Williams underwent surgery Thursday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.
According to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Phoenix Suns center sustained the injury during an offseason workout.
Williams will miss an extended period, although a more precise recovery timetable has not yet been disclosed.
