The Phoenix Suns have officially confirmed that Chris Paul will not play in Game 3, as expected, due to a groin strain he sustained in Game 2 against the Denver Nuggets on Monday.
Paul did not participate in Thursday’s practice as the team held its final session before attempting to re-enter the series at home in Friday’s Game 3. The Denver Nuggets currently hold a 2-0 lead in this best-of-seven series.
Sources have informed ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski that Paul’s availability for Game 4 is also uncertain.
