The Philadelphia 76ers have announced the acquisition of Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics. Boston receives Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks in the deal.
Brown, 29, joins Philadelphia after a career-best 2025-26 season, averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game. The 2024 NBA champion and Finals MVP will wear No. 7 for the 76ers.
“I’m excited to begin this next chapter in Philly,” Brown said. President of basketball operations Mike Gansey described the former Celtics star as one of the league’s top players, highlighting his two-way impact, leadership and high-level experience.
