Pelicans reportedly signing John Petty Jr to Exhibit 10 deal

Petty Jr has knocked-down 311 of the 814 three-pointers attempted in 4 seasons with the Crimson Tide

According to JD Shaw of Hoopsrumors, The New Orleans Pelicans are signing John Petty Jr to an Exhibit 10 deal.

The rookie guard finished his senior year at Alabama with averages of 12.5 points (37% 3P), 5.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals.

Petty Jr could play with the new New Orleans’ G League affiliate, the Birmingham Squadron

Free agent John Petty Jr. will sign an Exhibit 10 deal with the Pelicans, source tells @HoopsRumors. Petty, an Alabama product, went undrafted back in July.
