Paul Zipser

The former German international will join his hometown team, Heidelberg

Paul Zipser, a 29-year-old fan favorite of Bayern Basketball, is leaving BMW Park. The former German international will join his hometown team, Heidelberg.

Zipser will sign a 1+1 contract with the BBL team, which includes options to return to Bayern after each season. It’s more of a temporary farewell than a final goodbye for Zipser, more of a “see you soon” rather than a farewell.

🇺🇸 It’s a detour, not goodbye: @paulzzip leaves #FCBB and joins his home town team @MLP_Academics in Heidelberg. Why’s that just a detour? Read on our web site and find out ⤵️#FCBB #WeBallTogether #BisBaldPaul
