Following the identification of a COVID-19 cluster on Monday September 28 within Elan Béarnais (11 people including 4 professional staff) all contact cases were tested on Friday October 02.
These new tests were positive for 5 other pro players. To date, it is the entire professional team that is concerned, as well as almost all of the youth team.
The club is continuing to apply the LNB health protocol. Each person who tests positive is supervised and benefits from medical monitoring, as are those around them. The next check, which will be carried out on Monday 05 October, will concern people who tested positive last Monday. Severely affected, Elan Béarnais is all the more united and wishes to see all his family as soon as possible on the floors.
