Patty Mills has reportedly maintained his commitment to ASVEL Villeurbanne. According to BeBasket, the Australian veteran is expected to play in EuroLeague next season despite the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the French club’s roster.
Mills would reunite with Tony Parker, his former San Antonio Spurs teammate, with whom he won the NBA championship in 2014. The Australian guard is coming off a stint with La Laguna Tenerife, where he averaged 18.6 points, 1.6 assists and 14.5 PIR in 11 Liga ACB regular season appearances.
ASVEL’s situation remains open. Sylvain Francisco has already left the club to join Panathinaikos, while Daniel Theis, Nick Weiler-Babb and Armoni Brooks have been reported as players who could re-enter the market. The situations of Joel Bolomboy and Nate Sestina also remain unclear, with ASVEL’s last official roster announcements dating back to early July, when Yves Pons returned and Mbaye Ndiaye signed an extension.
