ASVEL continued their ambitious offseason moves by finalizing the signing of Patty Mills for the upcoming season, as reported by Telesport.
The Australian point guard will reunite with Tony Parker, with whom he shared a highly successful period at the San Antonio Spurs.
Mills, 37, arrived in Europe for the first time in his career late last season. He made an immediate impact, particularly in Spain’s ACB league, helping Tenerife eliminate Real Madrid in the playoffs before also troubling Barcelona in the semifinals.
Across 17 games between the regular season and playoffs, Mills averaged 18.1 points and 1.8 assists in 22 minutes per game, shooting 48% from the field, 44% from three-point range (on 6.9 attempts), and 88% from the free-throw line.
