Patty Mills makes ACB playoff history with 36 points at Palau

Patty Mills finished with 36 points at Palau, setting the highest scoring mark in an ACB semifinal this century. It was a remarkable performance, even though it was not enough to avoid defeat.

His outing also became the highest individual scoring performance at Palau since Drazen Petrovic’s 37 points in the 1989 final. That historical comparison underlines the scale of Mills’ night.

Mills also made 8 three-pointers, the fourth-best mark ever in ACB playoff history and a new postseason record for the aurinegros.
