Patrick Beverley Finally Arrives at Boulazac: Former NBA Guard Joins the Betclic ÉLITE Club

Patrick Beverley has arrived at Boulazac after signing with Boulazac Basket Dordogne. The former NBA guard is one of the biggest attractions of the 2026-27 Betclic ÉLITE season.

Patrick Beverley has officially arrived in Dordogne. Boulazac Basket Dordogne announced on Monday, August 31 that the American point guard had arrived at the Agora, sharing the first image of their major offseason signing inside his new home.

“Look who has just arrived at the Agora! Welcome Pat,” Boulazac wrote on its social media accounts to welcome Beverley to the club.

The French team had faced some difficulties in obtaining the American guard’s visa, but eventually completed his arrival less than three weeks after officially announcing his signing on August 14.

Beverley will now have just over three weeks to settle into his new surroundings and build chemistry with his teammates before Boulazac opens its season against Roanne at the Palio on September 26.

Beverley’s arrival represents one of the most significant signings in Boulazac Basket Dordogne history. The veteran guard has appeared in 666 NBA regular-season games and 71 playoff games during his career, playing for teams including Houston, the Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota, Chicago, Philadelphia and Milwaukee.

Patrick Beverley’s European Experience

The new Boulazac point guard also brings extensive European experience. Beverley began his professional career on the continent and was named EuroCup MVP in the 2011-12 season.

More recently, he played for Hapoel Tel Aviv and PAOK Thessaloniki. With the Greek club last season, Beverley averaged 9.3 points, 4 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 24 minutes per game.
