The guard leaves Golden State after three seasons and joins Phoenix

Pat Spencer is joining the Phoenix Suns. According to Shams Charania of ESPN, the free agent guard has agreed to a two-way NBA contract with the Arizona franchise.

Suns officials finalized the deal on Thursday night with Mark Bartelstein and Ross Aroyo of Priority Sports. Spencer now leaves the Golden State Warriors after three seasons.

His role grew steadily in Golden State, where he averaged 7.2 points in 18.6 minutes per game last season. He will now look to earn minutes in Phoenix’s new setup.
