Partizan are reportedly already working on keeping Carlik Jones for next season, with another roster rebuild expected in the summer. The club’s intention is said to be to move forward with their leader still in black and white.
After four months out with a foot injury, the point guard returned following the Radivoj Korac Cup and made an immediate impact. His comeback brought back playmaking, energy and leadership, as shown right away in the win in Bologna against Virtus.
Jones himself had previously left the door open to staying, saying he loves Partizan and has only received respect and affection from the club. At the same time, he explained that the matter is now between the front office and his agent.
