Calf injury in his first practice back from Dubai: Penarroya confirms the setback as Partizan lose a key scorer

Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade will be without Duane Washington Jr. for the remainder of the 2025-26 EuroLeague season. The guard suffered a calf injury in his first practice after returning to Belgrade, following the period he spent in Dubai.

Head coach Joan Penarroya confirmed the issue ahead of Partizan’s game vs Virtus Bologna, estimating 4-6 weeks out. That timeline could also sideline Washington for most of the ABA League Championship Stage before the playoffs begin.

Washington played 23 EuroLeague games this season, averaging 14.9 points and 2.5 assists in 21 minutes per night. After 29 rounds, Partizan sit 17th with a 9-20 record.
