Partizan Belgrade president Ostoja Mijailović spoke to Mozzart Sport about rumors of a possible sabotage of head coach Željko Obradović by some players on the roster.
Mijailović addressed the issue directly: “We removed the player we believed was responsible for that. Are there other players involved? I don’t know. We can’t know that.”
He also commented on Jabari Parker’s situation: “How do you expect us to terminate his contract? If we were to terminate it tomorrow, we would have to pay him five million immediately. This way, we pay him in installments. When a player has a two-year contract, you pay him monthly, but if you terminate the deal, you have to pay everything at once. I believe the coach has already removed him from the team.”
