After a period of uncertainty that seemed to have prematurely ended his stint in Belgrade, Dylan Osetkowski is set to return to Partizan. The news, first reported by MozzartSport, marks the conclusion of a complex legal process regarding an anti-doping case dating back to 2023.
The situation came to a head on the very day of Partizan’s EuroLeague clash against Real Madrid. The Spanish anti-doping agency had issued a suspension following a positive marijuana test from 2023, during the player’s tenure in Malaga.
At that time, Partizan was forced to protect its interests by triggering termination clauses and ending the American power forward’s contract. However, thanks to the efforts of his agent, Misko Raznatovic, the sanction was first temporarily stayed and has now been fully revoked, restoring Osetkowski’s full eligibility.
Since the previous contract had been legally annulled, the two parties had to sign a new agreement to allow the player to rejoin the Serbian team’s roster. According to MozzartSport, this new contract is set to expire at the end of the current season.
