With the NBA seriously considering a move into Europe, EuroLeague scheduled an online meeting with clubs to address key issues for the competition and next season.
According to the report, Crvena Zvezda and Partizan are among the teams that have applied for an A-license.
The article says eight clubs have submitted requests for a contract guaranteeing 10 years in the EuroLeague.
Alongside the Belgrade rivals, the list includes Virtus Bologna, Dubai, Monaco, Hapoel Jerusalem, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Valencia.
For Partizan and Zvezda, the move is framed as a major step toward long-term security amid potential structural changes in European basketball.
The piece also notes both clubs signed three-year licenses last summer, while Tuesday’s board agenda includes Real Madrid and Barcelona and NBA-related developments.
